Power cuts disrupt water supply in city
Hyderabad: Power cuts interrupted the city’s water supply on Wednesday, causing delays in several parts of the city. This was mainly due to the heavy gale and downpour on Tuesday night. Of 13.5 lakh consumers, 6.5 lakh were supposed to get drinking water on Wednesday as per different schedules, but this got postponed.
After noticing the power cuts at the pumping stations, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board officials alerted TSSPDCL.
